Professional Biography Since 1992 I have been a self-employed consultant, working with individuals, businesses, agencies and organizations.  I began as a facilitator and trainer, and my primary involvement was in facilitating strategic planning and team skills training, including conflict management.  As conflict surfaced as a primary underlying concern within many organizations, I became a mediator in 1996, and have continued my advanced training in alternative dispute resolution since then.  I will complete a Master's degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Conflict Management, in early 2004.  My client base has grown by word of mouth to more than 60 businesses and organizations throughout the state of Oregon.  Recently  I have begun working for a number of state and federal agencies, and am gearing my practice toward public policy and environmental conflict resolution.  I have a special interest in data-based decision making, and have integrated various measurement tools into my practice.  I am motivated by a strong belief in the value of locally based, collaborative problem solving.  I have been privileged to facilitate a number of processes that integrated widely divergent interests and generated a high level of consensus and commitment to practical outcomes.
