Professional Biography My mission as an ECR practitioner is to facilitate a pathway towards the peaceful and productive resolution of natural resource issues.  I help my clients identify and articulate the issues involved in their potential conflict, and develop strategies to help them collaboratively resolve them. I practice  honesty and neutrality with the parties, and sensitivity and impartiality to the issues.  I also encourage a friendly, informal atmosphere.My college education, and 15 years with the USDA Forest Service in Oregon, Montana and Utah gives me a strong, diverse background in natural resource issues.  This background, in combination with my experience and training in public involvement, mediation, and facilitation, contributes substantially to my fluency and effectiveness in ECR.  I am also a member, in good standing, of the International Association of Public Participation, and the International Association of Facilitators.I am experienced with national and regional multi-agency/jurisdictional projects, as well as local projects where involved citizens are committed to resolving issues.  I particularly enjoy developing a working relationship with a group of people over a period of time.  Regardless of the scale of the project, the objective of my ECR services is sharing in the resolution of important environmental issues.
