Professional Biography Since 2000, I have used my experience and passion for environmental science and public policy to help multi-agency and multi-disciplinary groups tackle environmental challenges. With preparation, poise, and humor, I enjoy helping groups seek innovative solutions that are also technically and politically feasible. All projects are different, and often require unique solutions in response to particular challenges, personalities, and systems. I’m a creative problem-solver and strategic thinker, able to help groups recognize and effectively address obstacles that might compromise project delivery. By helping teams develop effective structures and forums to reach common ground, I help teams comply with diverse environmental regulations within the context of complicated design efforts and community engagement processes. My goal is to always support the development of implementable, lasting solutions. I have experience working within many regulatory frameworks, but am also comfortable working without a net. My most recent experience is with NEPA, the Endangered Species Act, Land and Water Conservation Fund Act (Section 6f), National Historic Preservation Act (Section 106), and natural resource permitting. I’ve also facilitated groups facing complex decisions related to facility siting, land use decisions (including annexation), natural resource mitigation planning, in-water construction, solid waste management, transportation planning, and stormwater treatment.
