Professional Biography Robert Fisher specializes in facilitating constructive dialogue and cooperative action.  He has worked with stakeholders throughout the United States to make informed decisions, manage conflict, and resolve long-standing disputes.  He has a wide range of experience with assessment and process design, energy, ESA, infrastructure planning, intergovernmental coordination, land use, leadership development, litigation settlement, natural resources, NEPA, regulatory programs, resource management, science, strategic visioning, Superfund, technology, and transportation. Robert developed and teaches courses in collaborative leadership.  Robert practiced law in Washington, D.C. specializing in negotiating environmental responsibilities and complex financial transactions.  He is on the mediation panels for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and the Federal District Court. Robert has been a full-time mediator since 1992.  He has over thirty years of experience as a mediator, facilitator, and lawyer.
