Professional Biography Penny Mabie has worked with stakeholders of all types to analyze issues, develop appropriate processes, and facilitate conflict resolutions related to environmental cleanup, facility siting, land use, solid waste policy, conservation measures, and transportation/urban infrastructure.  She has worked directly with all levels of government - federal, state and local, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Bureau of Land Management,US Fish and Wildlife Services, NOAA, U.S. Forest Service, the States of Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Utah, North Carolina, Alaska, Illinois, Arizona, Idaho, and California and multiple cities and counties in Washington on issues ranging from hazardous waste cleanup to siting wastewater facilities to climate change and conservation. With a background in public policy and environmental studies, Penny provides a technically sound approach to facilitation and mediation.  Penny's stylistic approach is confident, warm, and pragmatic, with a light touch.  Penny believes that facilitation and conflict resolution require strength in both process and substance, and the ability to be in the moment while concurrently focusing on the end result.
