Position or Title Director

Professional Biography I direct the Natural Resources Leadership Institute at NC State University.  The institute offers an annual leadership development program to natural resources and environmental professionals, mostly within NC. The Institute's curriculum focuses on leadership development, conflict resolution, and collaborative problem solving. Besides providing training, I mentor, coach, and guide the participants as they apply their conflict resolution skills to environmental issues in their communities and within their organizations. In addition, I provide leadership development and other team building training to agencies. Through the Institute's Environmental Decision Making Program, along with other colleagues and partners, I provide process design and management, strategic planning, facilitation, & conflict assessments to aid collaborative problem solving initiatives.
