Professional Biography I have been mediating for approximately 36 years. In that time, I have enjoyed a practice that has permitted me to mediate in a wide variety of settings. The majority of my environmental cases have been complex, multi-party Superfund enforcement disputes. I also have mediated major disputes arising under the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Acts.  I have mediated other public policy disputes, however, including the successful mediation of the lawsuit brought by black farmers against the US Department of Agriculture. A significant element of my practice over the years has been that of training others about dispute resolution generally and mediation in particular. I have trained for an extensive range of institutions from federal and local court systems to a local community mediation center.
