Professional Biography I specialize in public policy decision making, stakeholder and public engagement, collaboration and conflict resolution. I have 20 years' experience as a convener, facilitator and consensus builder in complex environmental cases.  I have conducted regulatory negotiations, policy dialogues, and site-specific mediations on subjects that include NEPA,  land use, transportation, energy, climate adaptation, resource development, wildlife refuge planning, water quality, Clean Air Act implementation, nuclear weapons site cleanup, and Superfund cleanup. In addition, I have successfully conducted public involvement efforts in conjunction with policy-making processes, blending consensus building and public input.  As a trainer, I have designed and delivered training in conflict resolution, consensus building, negotiation and communication in the context of complex environmental and public-policy disputes for clients in the private and public sectors.I can also serve as an effective facilitator for the a wide array of meetings, including information exchange meetings, public involvement meetings, planning sessions, goal setting retreats and other meetings that don't require conflict resolution and mediation.I am able to adapt a well-practiced problem solving process to the individual needs of the client and the stakeholder group.
