Position or Title President, Desired Outcomes Inc.
Professional Biography I have spent the past 10 years facilitating multi-party conflicts as a third party neutral. I specialize in non-profit and government issues and assist my clients with facilitation, leadership development training and strategic planning. With my varied and extensive experience, I am adept at designing unique and effective processes to get a group where they want to go. In addition, I have developed numerous models and approaches that enhance a group's effectiveness after I have gone. I am pushing the envelope in designing effective and practical ways to run public land use meetings. I developed this training after serving as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for 3.5 years(and frankly being frustrated by the slow processes). This training has now helped several Colorado communities improve their efficiency. My style is very versatile. I have worked with small rural communities, statewide initiatives and on the national level.People have appreciated my style of effectively moving through the substance of a meeting while also honoring the procedural needs of a group. I am not described as a fluffy, touchy- feely facilitator but rather am often referred to as a "personable taskmaster" who makes meetings more enjoyable because they are productive, on time, on task, and fun.
