Position or Title Task Order Manager-Conflict Resolution

Professional Biography I provide meditation, facilitation, consultation,  training, and public participation services in the public policy arena, primarily land use and environmental.  I believe in system and capacity-building as opposed to sole reliance on outsiders to resolve conflicts. I try to include elements of training and internal capacity-building in all the work I do.  By background, I am most familiar with local land use and natural resource issues, including: transportation planning, watershed planning, wetlands, land use, forestry management, air quality, solid waste, low/moderate income housing, and smart growth/ land development disputes.  My conflict resolution approach is flexible, depending on the nature of the conflict.  I am familiar with and have practiced a narrative mediation approach, in addition to a facilitative and more directional approach.  I am a certified planner (AICP) and enjoy projects with GIS and charette applications.  I am currently a Conflict Resolution Specialist with EPA.
