Professional Biography Kathleen Rutherford’s experience comprises stakeholder engagement and process design, agreement focused facilitation, and consensus based decision-making. She has facilitated and mediated policy dialogues, inter-agency regulatory dialogues, and strategic planning and consensus building efforts at the local, regional, state, national and international levels. This work has resulted in implementable agreements, viable consensus based policy recommendations, and rigorously strategic approaches to gaining traction on complex policy issues at the intersection of equity, economics, health and environment. Kathleen is knowledgeable in environmental, energy, health, and other policy issues. She has also developed, trained and implemented programs in alternative dispute resolution training for a variety of audiences. Kathleen  has over 300 hours training in environmental negotiation, group facilitation, conflict management, process design and policy analysis.  She received her leadership training through Leadership Aspen 1998.  Kathleen has served as an Affiliate Faculty member at Regis University in Denver, teaching graduate courses in Public Policy Advocacy and Conflict Resolution. She also taught conflict resolution and negotiation at the Graduate School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado, Denver.
