Position or Title Technical Director

Professional Biography A senior facilitator, scientist and planner, Jeremy Pratt has worked since the 1970's in environmental conflict resolution, facilitation, neutral conflict assessment, and public review for natural resources plans, policy, and programs. Working with local jurisdictions, state and federal government, agriculture, timber, and industry, water users and purveyors, tribes, environmentalists, and private property interests throughout the west, Jeremy helps groups develop shared frames of reference and come to workable, sustainable solutions. His strengths are his abilities for facilitative listening, accurate recording of group process, and a sharp sense for where and how stakeholders can come to consensus. His ability to hear and frame themes helps groups recognize potential solutions. He understands the differing perspectives of stakeholders because he has served in lead roles on projects addressing their concerns for nearly 30 years. His focus is on “overall workable solutions” to western environmental and natural resourceconflicts.Because he is both a trained facilitator and an experienced natural resources consultant, Mr. Pratt understands how to apply facilitation to scientific and technical questions, and how to fruitfully bringtechnical issues to public processes. Educated in energy, ecology and environmental science, he has applied, practical experience on several hundred projects concerned with the development, use, and management of natural resources. Hi
