Professional Biography Dr. John Ehrmann has pioneered the application of collaborative processes for almost two decades. He has extensive experience in legislative and regulatory processes dealing with environmental, natural resource and other policy areas related to sustainable development, including the President's Council for Sustainable Development and the National Commission on Superfund. He works at the local, state, regional, national and international levels on both site-specific and policy focused issues and disputes. He also provides facilitation for internal organizational processes including strategic planning, organizational development, formation of advisory committees and processes designed to further collaborative decision-making and sustainable development. Dr. Ehrmann is a founding partner of Meridian Institute, a non-profit organization providing the services of third party neutrals in a variety of problem-solving contexts including multi-party dialogues, partnerships and internal organizational planning. Dr. Ehrmann received a Ph.D. in Natural Resource Policy and Environmental Dispute Resolution from the University of Michigan, School of Natural Resources.
