Position or Title Public Involvement Specialist

Professional Biography I offer more than 20 years of experience in facilitation, mediation, public involvement and community relations and more than 10 years experience in public policy development, third-party facilitation, process design and conflict resolution. My company, Intrinsic Consulting, LLC, is a woman and Native American-owned company with offices in Arizona and Texas. I have designed and facilitated programs for the development of low-income/minority community planning, long-range land use and transportation plans and environmental justice issues/concerns. I have experience building stakeholder consensus in community planning, transportation and environmental arenas. I work extensively with government agencies and stakeholders and have designed and facilitated numerous citizen planning processes. I am a certified mediator and received my training at theCenter for Public Policy Dispute Resolution at the University of Texas School of Law. I hold a certificate in public participation from IAP2 and am the Vice President of the Gulf Coast Chapter of IAP2. I believe in hands-on, honest interaction with all parties. I prefer a more casual, conversational style to help put people at ease in these often stressful situations.
