Professional Biography Godec, Randall & Associates Inc., is a consulting firm that helps groups reach consensus, and manages complex public and stakeholder problems. Most projects require adherence to National Environmental Policy Act policies and Most work deals with existing or potential conflicts pertaining to environmental health and safety, transportation, and siting issues. Godec is an IAF Certified Professional Facilitator, a Board member and one of the original Master Trainers for the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2). He served on a federal task force to design the risk management and emergency communication protocol for the National Governors Association (NGA). In 1997 and 1998 Godec worked with a group representing industry, academia, the scientific community, indigenous tribes, NGOs and government to develop "The Boulder Principles" (Effective Collaborative Processes on Sustainable Development and Environmental Policy). He's a guest lecturer at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, and Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs, an adjunct at the University of Arizona and has guest lectured at the Queensland University of Technology. With more than 30 years of experience, Godec is one of the originators of the IAP2 Certificate course and a developer of the new Emotion, Outrage and Public Participation training.
