Professional Biography Since 1984 I have taught university alternative dispute resolution courses (negotiation, mediation, conflict management, international conflict and negotiation, and natural resources decision making).  I have conducted numerous conflict resolution and collaborative learning training programs.  I have directed a number of conflict assessments.  I have led a number of process design projects.  I have facilitated numerous collaborative, multi-party public participation events (e.g., Collaborative Learning citizen workshops).  I am both a practitioner and an academic, learning from and with members of professional/practitioner community, the environmental and natural resource management community, and the university community.  I am currently a professor of communication and adjunct professor in the following programs: Forest Resources, Marine Resources Management, and Anthropology.I have experience and have developed skills in assessment, training, process design, facilitation and mediation, and project evaluation.
