Professional Biography Gail Bingham is President Emeritus of RESOLVE and has mediated environmental, natural resources, and public health issues on a full time basis since the late 1970s.  She is the 2006 winner of the Mary Parker Follett Award of the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR).Ms. Bingham has served as a mediator in a variety of situations involving federal, tribal, state, and local governments and private parties on such subjects as: ecosystem restoration, endangered species, wetlands, water allocation and watershed management, TMDL policy, drinking water regulations, groundwater protection, ocean and coastal management, chemicals and pesticides policy, oil spill contingency plans, and public health.  She also is the author of several publications, including:  - Resolving Environmental Disputes:  A Decade of Experience, - When the Sparks Fly:  Building Consensus When the Science is Contested, and - Seeking Solutions: Alternative Dispute Resolution and Western Water Issues.  She served two, three-year terms on the Board of Directors of the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution (now ACR) and served as the first chair of the environmental section.  Ms. Bingham attended Stanford University and received a B.S. from Huxley College of Environmental Studies in Washington State.  She did her graduate work in environmental planning at the University of California, Berkeley.  Ms. Bingham also worked as a planner in local government in the State of Washington and in India.
