Professional Biography My experience is with "hot" highly complex projects involving residents, local, state and federal participant and regulatory agencies in the delivery of successful and responsible policies, plans and projects.  I have worked with government agencies and stakeholder groups on issues that include coastal protection, toxic runoff, water quality. estuary and watershed restoration, wetland and coastal restoration, visioning and process design and policy development. I offer facilitation, process design and negotiation skills that aid parties in working in contentious, complex, high profile projects that includes public stakeholder and inter-governmental groups working toward common goals with limited resources.Pre-convening interviews are basic to relationship building and understanding the faces and stories behind a conflict. Development of a clear understanding of interests and shared values by the parties is a critical first step. The opportunity for each party to share their "operations" - interests and values is essential in initiating a dialogue.  A set of clear questions or outcome statements is critical initial product for focusing discussions, directing process design and affirming the ability of the parties to reach consensus/move forward.
