Professional Biography Mr. Batts has been providing facilitation, consensus building, and conflict assessment services for over 13 years. He uses a variety of tools in his practice, but advocates educational development and interactive exercises for consensus building. He has a diverse background of experience which allows him to address many topical areas, including planning, land management, military issues, energy development, transportation, and water resources. He has worked closely with federal agencies, state agencies, local municipalities, Tribes, and organizations, thereby providing him with an intimate understanding and appreciation for the different cultural and institutional missions that must be addressed in consensus building.
