Professional Biography Dr. Christopher Moore is an internationally recognized consultant, facilitator, mediator, trainer, and dispute systems designer. He has practiced for over 45 years, and worked in close to 50 countries or political entities (tribes or customary communities. Moore specializes in: 1)mediation/facilitation of complex multi-party public policy, environmental, and organizational disputes; 2) resolution of conflicts where relationships of trust and respect are at issue;and 3) management of differences between people with diverse values, organizational, professional or cultural backgrounds; and 4) designing internal organizational and public dispute resolution systems. Moore conducts situation assessments and mediates or facilitates disputes concerning *Land use/rights; state, regional, and county growth management plans; and post-violent conflict or natural disaster land dispute resolution in many countries abroad. *Water-project development, federal reserved rights, allocation, quality, thermal impacts, pollution, facility operations, and wetlands protection. *Air- VOC reduction, regional air quality plans, ozone reduction strategies interagency coordination. *Habitat/Species Protection- predator management, threatened and endangered species, and fish habitat. *Energy- windfarm siting, oil and gas development, rules and regulations. *Mining- policy development, siting, operations, clean-up, and remediation. *Transportation- state plans, road siting, and interchange development. In the area of training and capacity building, Moore has trained over 20,000 individuals in the US from federal, tribal, state, local governments and public interest groups; and a similar number of professionals from many other countries.
