Professional Biography Chris Hoffman has fourteen years of experience designing and facilitating conflict resolution processes. His work spans multiple topics, diverse interests, and a broad range of issues. He is adept at engaging multiple interests in the identification of issues and challenges they face, and at building consensus-based solutions to those challenges. Chris is currently facilitating the City of Seattle’s Nightlife Advisory Board, where he is working with nightlife industry and neighborhood representatives to develop recommendations that will support a thriving and vibrant nightlife industry and protect the livability of Seattle neighborhoods.Chris recently facilitated the City of Kent’s Drainage Master Plan Citizens Advisory Committee. The committee was composed of business, community, and environmental interests and was charged with making recommendations to the Kent City Council on key elements of the plan, including flood control and habitat protection and restoration. Chris has an MS in Conservation Social Sciences from the University of Idaho’s College of Natural Resources, is a past board member of the International Association of Public Participation, and has managed award winning projects such as the Brightwater Wastewater Facility Siting Study, and the South Park Brownfield Redevelopment Project.
