Professional Biography Catherine Allen is an experienced facilitator, mediator and trainer at the Marasco Newton Group, with over 11 years professional experience working with industry, local and federal government, environmental and citizen  groups around complex environmental management and economic development issues.  Specifically, her work has focued on improving communication processes that help diverse interests successfully make and implement decisions affecting the environment and economic development options. Ms. Allen has provided public and private sector clients with a variety of process and decision management support services including: situation assessments, stakeholder process management advice, convening, designing and facilitating multi-stakeholder meetings and policy dialogues on a variety of contentious environmental management issues, including land use planning, watershed management, hydropower development,recreationalland uses, wildlife management, and innovative regulatory compliance. Ms. Allen has designed and delivered training in facilitation and conflict management. Ms. Allen prefers a facilitative style in working with clients.
