Professional Biography I am a trained and experienced mediator and facilitator and conflict management trainer and systems designer.  Also, I am recognized as a leader/pioneer in the development of conflict resolution, partnering, and ADR in the Federal sector and I have received numerous awards and recognition for my work, including publications, in these areas.  I have also chaired ABA, FBA, and Federal government ADR Committees.  I have lectured throughout the United States and the world on ADR systems design, conflict prevention, and dispute resolution.  As the Chief Trial Attorney and Dispute Resolution Specialist for the Corps of Engineers I was involved in resolving numerous environmental clean-up cases, hazardous waste issues, and also I was an instructor at the Regulatory V training course for Corps personennel on wetlands and permit cases.  Additionally, I have extensive international experience in training over 200 mediators in Croatia, Bulgaia, Nepal, and Egypt.  Furthermore, I have assisted in the development of mediation centers and drafting of the Mediation Law in these countries.  I am also serving on several Dispute Review Boards (DRB) for the New York City Mass Transit Authority for the construction of the Long Island Railroad tunnel project into Grand Central Terminal and the construction of a new station platform.  The DRB will work with the parties to atempt to resolve any conflicts/issues during construction including environmental.  Finally, I have facilitated over 30 partner
