Professional Biography Donna Silverberg has been working full-time in the field of conflict resolution and consensus building involving government agencies, non-profit organizations and the public since 1988.  Her conflict management work, which began at the University of San Diego’s School of Law, has included a broad range of topics: contracts, regulatory rule negotiations, enhancing government services, land-use, employment issues, and citizen complaints about public officials and police officers, to name a few.  Over the past twelve years, the bulk of her work has focused on natural resource issues, including watershed management, endangered species and public health issues.  Her practice has included mediation, facilitation, consensus building, collaborative problem solving, negotiation, dispute systems design, conflict resolution skills training, moderating large public meetings, and coaching and consulting at the senior executive and mid-management levels.  While her focus is 'interest based' communications, she is flexible and adapts to the stated needs of her clients.  Her clients consistently enjoy her sense of humor, attention to detail and professionalism. She received the Oregon Mediation Association's 2006 'Award of Excellence' for her contributions and work in the field of conflict resolution.
