Professional Biography Full-time mediator, facilitator and arbitrator since 1984.  Facilitator/Mediator, multi-party public policy issues.  Experience includes facilitation of watershed management planning and program development, negotiated rulemaking and negotiation of proposed legislation concerning state-wide transportation planning regulations, the state statutory scheme for wetlands protection (allowing for greater state-federal cooperation), of a 3-year state-wide environmental risk assessment and environmental priority setting project, of revisions of Maine's Site Law, and of revisions to Maine's Storm Water Management and Erosion and Sediment Control Laws.  Projects have included as many as 100 identified stakeholders.  Designer and facilitator of stakeholder and public involvement processes to address environmental and public policy issues, including allocation of funds to respond to fisheries management efforts, exploration of cross-boundary strategies to develop a network of marine protected areas in the Gulf of Maine, international models of co-management of fisheries resources, strategies to reduce non-point source pollution to groundwater,wind power siting and strategies to revitalize Maine's potato industry.
